Noa Hass | M.Ed. Autism & Developmental Disabilities

My name is Noa and I have been working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for over 10 years. I have a B.Ed. in Special Education and Children Literature from Kibbutzim College of Education Technology and Arts, Tel Aviv, Israel, a Diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science from George Brown College, Toronto, and a M.Ed. in Autism and Developmental Disabilities from the University of British Columbia.

As a Behaviour Consultant and Music Applied Behavior Analysys (ABA) consultant, of 'Here Comes the Sun', I provide full intervention services for families and children ages 6 and up. In my practice I often integrate music as a tool for communication with children with autism and developmental disabilities.

Music has always been an inseparable part of my life, as a passion and inspiration for everything I do. As I progressed in my studies and became proficient in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), I have learned that music is an emerging evidence-based tool to increase social and communication skills of children with ASD, while improving their emotional well-being, self-expression, confidence, and overall quality of life. I have since combined music with evidence-based strategies, and enjoyed successes in my intervention goals.

I am fluent in English, Hebrew and Spanish.

Along with my passion for both music and children with autism, I love traveling, hiking, camping, photographing, paddle boarding and swimming in nature!
